Origin: China
Production: The plant of the burdock root is a biennial that blooms bright pink/red/purple thistle-like flowers on long stalks. The plant is native to Europe and Asia but has now been naturalized in North America and Australia. The carrot-like taproot can grow up to three feet deep.
Qualities: Burdock root is used in herbal medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine, and is considered to be a diuretic, diaphoretic, and a blood purifying agent.
Common Use: Burdock root can be brewed into a tea, or used as a tincture, poultice, or powdered and encapsulated.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.

It’s working great to make an infusion of 2 parts burdock root and one part red clover blossoms to clear arthritis inflammation.
