ORGANIC RED ROOIBOS TEA
SKU: HTT6-025
Hurry up! Sales Ends In
Origin: South Africa
Production: Similar to the production of black or green teas, the green rooibos leaves are harvested, cut and bruised (often with mechanical rollers), and then exposed to heat for several days to allow oxidation (fermentation). However, unlike tea prepared from Camellia sinensis, Rooibos tea does not turn bitter with long-term simmering as it has less than half the amount of tannins and it contains no caffeine.
Qualities: Rooibos (pronounced roy-boss) or "red bush", grows exclusively in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is named after the distinctive reddish-brown color it takes on once the plant has been oxidized. Rooibos tea is believed to be high in anti-oxidants, contains nine trace minerals including iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc, calcium and sodium, as well as many yet unknown micronutrients.
Common Use: This enchanting tea brews up to a deep red cup in 3-4 minutes with a flavor some describe as fruity, sweet, rounded, mild and smooth with a refreshingly herbal texture.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
Safety: We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.

Great Rooibos!
Quality is great and price is amazing!
Love the rooibos
This tea is delicious and a classic decaf tea that is one of my favorites. So glad to revisit it. I prepare it in a coffee maker with a blend of herbals (yerba mate, black tea, kratom) and in tea bags when I just want a single serving. Thank you!
Rooibos
Just fine. I combine rooibos with yurba mate for lunchtime tea.
I love Essential Organics!
I use the Red Rooibos Tea as tea, but sometimes I also mix some in with my fresh-ground coffee. That gives the coffee a little different flavor & also cuts the acidity of the coffee.
Rooibos loose leaf tea
This is an excellent product. I purchased a large quantity and am most pleased.
