Qualities: Goji berries (aka. Wolfberries) are an amazing superfood berry, known for their sweet taste and health benefits. They are rich in beta-carotene and iron, contain 18 amino acids, many trace minerals, and antioxidants which are associated with many health beneficial properties that result in overall anti-aging benefits. They are believed to be immune boosting, mood increasing 'happy berry', support vision, liver functioning protective, blood purifying, and may help with reduced sugar cravings.
Common Use: You can enjoy goji berries in many ways. Try adding them to your breakfast cereal or oatmeal, sprinkle them on salads or desserts, blend them into smoothies or trail-mixes, or when making a tea, or simply eat as-is for a lovely snack! Like with any dried fruit, you can soak them in water to soften them before use and don't forget to use the soaking water with the berries in all your recipes to add a bit of nutritious sweetness.

Well firstly I don’t buy anything from China. Secondly Lycium barbarum is actually the Lycii Berry, NOT GOJI, a common species of the genus Lycium that is found in lowland areas across Asia. The tree is known for its bright red berries. Lycii berries are almost entirely similar to goji berries, their growing regions being the largest discernible difference.Goji berry and lycii berry are virtually the same, with the only discernible difference is that goji is usually a high-altitude strain of Lycium and is commonly found in the Himalayas, Nepal, and Tibet, whereas lycii berry is the more common variety found in lowland areas. For trade purposes they are usually considered almost the same.
