Good eats - slow shipping
Love the Organics split pea and black bean soups - tasty and convenient - you can't get them anyway else. Just wish the $15 shipping charge would improve the shipping - shouldn't take 10 days to arrive in OR from WA.
Makes nutritious meal quickly
I use the rehydrated black beans as a filler for my tortillas. I do wish that Essential Organics would provide directions for rehydration. I have found that 1 part beans to almost 1 part water works well for me.I also like the dehydrated pinto beans.
Great Black Beans!
Got myself 4.4lbs, should of got the 25lb ones. I make my own black beans at home in my pressure cooker and than smash them to make refried. Bought these as a quick alternative to the hour I spend making beans when I come home from work. They are super tasty and have a great aroma and mouth feel, I don't add any spices as it's not needed. Tastes great as is. My Ratio for refried is 1 : .5 = 1 cup of Blacks Beans to 1/2 cup of hot water, stir then cover for a few mins, come back and stir again. Done! Less than 5 mins!
