In Ayurvedic medicine, they are used to treat colds, flu, water retention, and certain issues of the liver and spleen. Today, celery seed is most commonly used as a diuretic, for treatment of arthritis and gout, calming the nerves, reducing inflammation, and lowering blood pressure.
Common Use: Celery seed is used in many recipes, including pickling spice, bread, and soups. It can also be brewed as a tea.
Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry place in a sealed container.

Celery Seed, whole - very fresh and fine. Put some in my quinoa, with salt, coriander and cayenne and it was delicious.
We are so happy for your company. Your prices are so good, even with the shipping prices to Ontario. Your food is so fresh and I love your labels. I take them off the bags and put them on my gallon jars etc. They look so country. I am buying more and more from you, as I discover what you have and what we need. Thank you so much - yes, Organic Matters.
