Ingredients: Pinto beans, salt.
Process: steamed, pressed, and dehydrated
Directions: just add hot water and let sit for 3 minutes until thick. Or you can heat up water on the stove and stir in the flakes. Add spices as you like and you have a delicious instant pinto bean soup or sauce/dip (if you use less water). Great for camping!
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark location in a well-sealed container.

ORGANIC PINTO BEAN, flakes
I have not tried these yet, as I am stocking them and will use them for dips, soups etc. I am looking forward to experimenting with them. I love pinto beans, period. I love trying new things and these are new to me and I bought with excitement! I have loved all your products I bought from you and I do not think these will be any differ! Can’t get enough of these beans!
So easy to prepare & delicious!
How we prepared them: We sautéed some garlic and onion in olive oil, then poured in some of the flakes, added some water, salt and cilantro, stirred, cooked on low for ten minutes, sprinkled some shredded cheddar on top and enjoyed in a tortilla with some chopped tomatoes and bean sprouts. So good, so nutritious, quick prep & delicious!
The best ever!
Got the big bag this time. Only one ingredient and the texture is excellent. There’s no fat or spices included so you can add whatever you like. Just add water and spices/fat of choice (or not) and heat. We have used the microwave and the stove, both work great.
Absolutely Perfect!
These Organic Pinto Bean Flakes are soooo delicious! I had ordered the smaller bag first to try them, and came back and ordered the 25 pound size. I eat beans almost daily and these fill so many gaps.. because they are organic, fast, easy, filling, and nutritious. I prepare by using 1:1 water ratio. So 1 cup of Organic Pinto Bean Flakes with 1 cup of water. My “secret sauce” is 1 teaspoon of Vogue Cuisine Vegebase , or Vogue Chicken Base, or Vogue Beef Base. All are vegetarian and delicious! I’m telling you, Vogue Cuisine is the best for broth bases! I typically use a 1/2 teaspoon each of the Vege Base and Chicken Base.. with one cup of beans. This will make your Organic Pinto Bean Flakes off the chart! So..one cup water, one cup Organic Pinto Bean Flakes, one teaspoon Vogue Cousine broth base. Bring water and Broth Base to boil, add Organic Pinto Bean Flakes, (add cheese and taco sauce- as I do), stir, cover and let sit for 10 minutes. Uncover, stir, and eat how you want! With these Organic Pinto Bean Flakes, no more excuses for getting fast food. These are so quick and so easy!! Plus the healthy nutrition can’t be beat!! I typically make them as a burrito- take that Taco Bell! Because I had a Taco Bell addiction to their bean burritos- no more! Eat these beans with Naan, sourdough bread, rice crackers, and another favorite.. tortilla chips, for that classic beans and chips.or just eat plain out of the saucepan! They are that good!
